BBC Pro-Euthanasia?

Summary:

A television program broadcasted by the BBC leaves the viewer with the feeling that the BBC is supporting euthanasia. They broadcasted a program that showed how Peter Smedley (71) goes to Dignitas clinic in Switzerland to end his life there. He was accompanied by his wife Christine and fantasy-writer sir Terry Pratchett. Pratchett is already known for his campaigning to legalize euthanasia, which gives people even more chance to consider this program just another campaigning act from him. This is said because the show seems to be promoting, romanticising and normalising assisted death, also known as euthanasia.

Opinion:

I think this is a big fuss over nothing, it's just a television program. If the BBC broadcasts a movie about the romantic side of a war doesn't mean they want another war to happen. And I think it is sad that someone has to go all the way to Switzerland to accomplish this.
