Summary:
Emma Watson (21), a British actress known for her part as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter movies, decided to put her studies at Brown University on hold for the time being. She claims that this is because combining her acting obligations don't match with her studies and it is just to much to handle at the same time. Word has it that this is not the only reason for her decision to postpone her studies, it is being said that she is being bullied by her fellow students. Whenever she said something in class they reacted with quotes from the Harry Potter movies. This bullying eventually led to her decision to put her studies on hold, or so it is said.
My opinion:
It amazes me how petty some people can be sometimes, and what jealousy can make people do to each other. Because I think that the reason for the bullying is jealousy, especially because the pranks all have to do with the Harry Potter movies. But I do think that stories like this can help other children who are being bullied, it can be a real comfort to hear that even celebrities suffer from bullies sometimes. I think that makes the kids feel less alone, and maybe they can even see that it is not their own fault that they are being bullied.
